It’s been a while since I’ve blogged for Let’s Party! as duties of life & business take time.  Still, I feel it’s important to help where I can.

I had the pleasure of working this past weekend at The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens in Old West Palm Beach along with Chez Goumet catering for a lovely couple, Jessica & Trent.

The bride was actually the daughter of my dear friend & business associate, Kim Fontaine, Photographer.  Naturally it was an honor to be there for multiple reasons.  Over time most of us develop a personal friendships with those we work with.  To be chose among all the DJ/MCs that Kim knows through nearly 30 years in this industry is really an honor!

I digress, as I want to make a point about how vendors treat each other & how that ensures a smooth event.

Communication & camaraderie is essential every step of the way.  I had the pleasure of working with Sherri, Mark, and the Chez Gourmet Saff and I can tell you from experience that the way a fellow pro works with you, is a strong indicator of how they feel about their business and clients as well.  Everything was smooth, professional, & perfectly timed. The staff kept me abreast of any happenings, courses, etc, and I was able to time my performance accordingly.

The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens was great too!  Donna & Isolde were very clear as to set up, expectations, timeline, etc. They were also great about letting us know about convenient parking etc. Super helpful & polite. I really appreciate that! I realize most are more likely interested in the beauty/ambiance. Well, this is truly a hidden gem. Gorgeous gardens, great sculpture, wonderful walking paths & fountains. It’s something of a little oasis and very much worth a visit. So much so, that my wife and I had and took the pleasure of doing so just a few days after I worked there!

Anyway, I just wanted to share.  If I can ever be of any help to you in planning your event, helping with referrals, or general feedback, please reach out anytime!
